Got CDs and don't know what to do with them?

Consider gifting them to me. I am passionate about preserving physical media and I will make sure that they find a new home with someone who appreciates them.

You can send them to me via USPS Media Mail, which costs significantly less than any other type of postage.

What I Do With Them

There are 3 things that I do with the CDs that I receive:

1. First I'll check to see if I would like to add any of the CDs to my own personal collection. I am a music lover first, and this is one of my favorite ways to discover new music.
2. If I don't want to add a CD to my collection, I'll see if I can resell it. Proceeds from the sale go to keep this website running, helps me fund projects I'm excited about and helps me buy CDs that I want.
3. Finally, if a CD doesn't fall into the previous 2 categories, then I'll donate it to a charity in my area. I currently donate to Goodwill and Stepping Stones Thrift.

This will keep your CDs out of landfills and get into the hands of people who will enjoy them.

How to Gift

Simply package up your CDs in a sturdy box and send them to:

I also accept gifts of vinyl, DVDs and music related electronics. Note that electronics cannot be sent via USPS Media Mail.

Just to be clear…since this is a gift, you will not receive any compensation or reimbursement for what you send me and your items will not be returned.
