Best Ultra Portable Solar Power Station
Jackery Portable Solar Battery
If you want a relatively lightweight portable solution, then a Jackery is a great way to go.
These units are compact and made of plastic, so they are lighter than other solutions out there. Perfect for trips where you have to carry your gear.
Just pair them up with a set of portable Jackery solar panels that you're ready to go.
The only downsides are that they don't have as much power as the other solutions on this list, and you cannot replace the battery after it dies.
But on the positive side, the smaller units are relatively inexpensive and completely self-contained.

Best Midrange Solar Power Station
Inergy Flex Modular System
As the name suggests, the Flex battery system by Inergy is one of the most flexible portable solar battery units available.
It's modular design can accommodate up to 96 batteries, 1,000 watt hours each.
That's a ton of capacity!
Each module is encased in metal, making it extremely durable.
A MPPT Supercharger unit can also be added to the stack to charge a battery in as little as 1.5 hours.
Multiple charge sources can be used at the same time:
- Solar panels
- Wall charging
- Car charging
The best part is that if one unit gets damaged or the battery dies, you can simply swap it out for a new unit.
Genius!
You don't have to replace the entire system, like you have to do with other battery solutions.
This is great for camping trips, camper van builds and even off-grid home use. If there is a downside, it's that the unit is a little heavy, so this is not for backpacking.

Best Heavy Duty Solar Power Station
Hysolis Apollo 5K
If you're looking for the ultimate solar solution for a whole house or RV, then this is your best bet.
The Apollo is also modular, allowing you to customize the system to your needs.
They claim that the batteries will last 20+ years and the base system can power a full fridge for 60 hours or more.
Batteries can be added to the system to deliver a whopping 118.3 kwh of total power.
You can also get 240V power with 2 Apollo units. Enough to power driers and electric stoves.
This is currently the best heavy duty, modular, fairly portable system available.
